How do I make it glow, and how long does the glow last?
Curve Toys' own instruction is 30 seconds under a direct light source such as a flashlight, or about two minutes of ambient light. Sunlight or a UV light works too.

How long the glow lasts afterwards, and how bright it is, is not published by Curve Toys or by anyone else we could find. We would rather tell you that than make a number up. Expect it to fade gradually as your eyes adjust, and re-charge it with a flashlight whenever you want it brighter.

Curve Toys publishes all three figures: 8 inches (20.3 cm) overall, 6.3 inches (16 cm) insertable, and 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) at the widest insertable point. Weight is 8.8 oz, which is about 249 g.

One correction worth knowing about: the "7 Inch" in the product name is Curve's model name, not a measurement. The insertable length is 6.3 inches and the overall length is 8. Curve does not publish a circumference figure, so we have left that field blank rather than calculating one for you.
Usage
Is this a good first dildo?
Honestly, no — not as a first one. At 1.5 inches across the widest point and 6.3 inches insertable, this sits in intermediate territory, and buying above your comfortable girth is the most common way a first dildo ends up in a drawer.

What lubricant should I use with it?

If you want something in-store that is safe with it, the Sliquid H2O and Pjur Aqua water-based lubricants both are. The Pjur silicone lubricant we also stock is not — keep that one for skin, not for this.
Usage
Will it work in a harness?
Curve Toys states that it is harness compatible, and the base is a suction cup, which is the usual shape for O-ring harnesses.

The one thing to plan for is the balls. They will not pass through a rigid ring, so use a stretchy O-ring and feed the shaft through from the front. We have seen a retailer warning that metal rings can damage the silicone, which is consistent with what stretchy rings are for. Curve does not publish a base diameter or a recommended ring size, so if you are ordering a harness at the same time we cannot give you a number to match — that one needs a tape measure on the physical unit.

They say it is made with 100% platinum elite silicone and that it is phthalate free. Platinum-cure silicone is non-porous, so it does not absorb fluids the way jelly or PVC does. Those are the manufacturer's own words and we are happy to repeat them.

Here is what they do not say. There is no third-party certification published for this product — no CE, no RoHS, no ISO mark. There is no country of manufacture stated anywhere. And most notably, Curve says nothing at all about the phosphorescent pigment that makes it glow. Their material statements describe the silicone base; the additive that makes this dildo different from every other dildo is simply not addressed in their documentation. We are not going to reassure you about something nobody has disclosed, and we are not going to alarm you about it either. If that gap matters to you, a plain silicone dildo avoids the question entirely.

  7. 7. Turn the lights off once you are comfortable, and let the glow do its job.
Important: Silicone lubricant will bond to and ruin silicone — water-based only, every time. Do not boil, autoclave or dishwash it: no sterilising method is published for this product, and heat is what fades phosphorescent pigment.
  1. 1. Wash by hand with warm water and a mild, unscented soap.
  2. 2. Pay attention to the ridge under the head and the seam around the balls.
  3. 3. Rinse fully — soap residue left on silicone gets tacky.
