Pleasure With Purpose

Pleasure With Purpose is our promise that pleasure should never come at anyone’s expense.

From our very first year in business, Red Pleasures directs 5% of every purchase to Canadian organizations that support women impacted by sexual exploitation. Not once we’re “big enough.” Not once it’s convenient. From day one.

Why this matters

We build our products around consent, safety, and pleasure. But the wider adult industry has a long, documented history of harm — and in Canada, that harm falls overwhelmingly on women and girls. The numbers are hard to read, which is exactly why we won’t look away:

  • 93% of human-trafficking victims identified by police in Canada between 2014 and 2024 were women and girls. (Statistics Canada, 2024)
  • About 7 in 10 cases reported to the Canadian Human Trafficking Hotline involved sexual exploitation. (Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking)
  • Nearly two-thirds of victims were under 25, and many were first exploited as teenagers. (Statistics Canada, 2024)
  • Indigenous women and girls are dramatically over-represented — research cited by Public Safety Canada suggests they can be up to 10 times more likely to be trafficked or sexually exploited than non-Indigenous women and girls.
  • Reported cases hit record highs in 2024 — and experts describe even those figures as “the tip of the iceberg,” because most exploitation is never reported.

Behind every statistic is a person who deserved safety and a real choice. Pleasure With Purpose is our small, ongoing way of standing with them.

How we help

It’s simple, and it’s built into every order:

  • 5% of every purchase — across the whole store, not just select products — is set aside for the fund.
  • Those funds go to Canadian charities and organizations that support and empower women impacted by sexual exploitation — through direct services, safe housing, counselling, and pathways out.
  • We’re starting broad and growing deliberately: as we confirm our partner organizations, we’ll name them right here.

Our promise: numbers, recipients, receipts

Giving only means something if it’s real and accountable. Every year we will publish:

  • the total amount raised through Pleasure With Purpose,
  • the organizations that received it, and
  • the receipts to back it up.

No vague “a portion of proceeds.” Real numbers, published openly.

Why “Pleasure With Purpose”

Pleasure is a good thing. It’s healthy, it’s human, and everyone deserves it on their own terms. We believe a brand that profits from pleasure carries a responsibility to the people the industry has too often failed. So every time you shop with us, a piece of that goes toward making things right — pleasure, with purpose.

Thank you for being part of it.
