Discreet Packaging & Privacy

Most stores say "discreet shipping" and leave it there. Here is the specific list of what we control and guarantee, and the equally specific list of what we don't — because a promise you can't keep is worse than no promise.

What we guarantee

The outside of the parcel

  • Plain brown or white corrugated box, or a plain poly mailer for small items.
  • No logos. No brand name. No imagery. No product names. Nothing printed, stamped, or taped onto the outside gives any indication of what's inside.
  • The return address is a neutral business name and a street address. It does not say "Red Pleasures" anywhere.
  • No "fragile", "adult", "18+" or similar markings that draw attention.

The inside of the parcel

  • No invoice, packing slip, catalogue, flyer, or promotional insert. Your itemized receipt is emailed to you instead.
  • Products are packed so nothing is identifiable if the outer box is opened casually.

Your bank statement

  • Charges appear as CHHOKRA INC.
  • They do not say "Red Pleasures". They do not name a product or a category.

Your inbox

  • Order and shipping emails use neutral subject lines.
  • Product names don't appear in the subject line or the email preview text that shows in a notification.
  • Email comes from hello@redpleasures.ca. If you'd rather we reply from somewhere else, or only over WhatsApp, say so in your first message and we will.

Your information

  • The carrier gets your name and delivery address. The carrier is not told what's inside.
  • We don't sell, rent, or trade customer information, and we don't upload customer lists to advertising platforms for ad targeting. See our Privacy Policy.

What we don't control — and won't pretend to

Anyone claiming 100% discretion end-to-end is overstating it. Here's where our control genuinely stops.

  • Carrier notifications. Tracking pages, delivery scan emails and SMS alerts are generated by the carrier, using the address and contact details on the shipment. We don't write them.
  • Delivery photos. Many carriers photograph the parcel where they leave it and attach it to the tracking record. That photo shows a plain box — but the notification itself may reach a shared household email or phone.
  • Where it's left, and who sees it. That's the driver's call, your building's setup, and your delivery instructions.
  • Who's home. A plain box is still a box someone else can pick up.
  • Customs, for US orders. Cross-border declarations must describe the goods honestly. We complete them accurately, as the law requires — which means a US customs declaration is not discreet. Customs may also open and inspect any parcel. If this matters to you, factor it in before ordering.

How to make delivery more private

  • Ship to a Canada Post pickup location or post office. You collect it yourself, with ID. Nothing is left at your door.
  • Ship to your workplace, if parcels there come to you directly.
  • Use a personal email and mobile number at checkout rather than a shared household one, so carrier notifications go to you.
  • Add a delivery instruction at checkout — a side door, a specific spot, or "do not leave, carry to depot".
  • Ask us for signature on delivery. Email us after ordering and we'll add it at no charge.

Any of these, just email hello@redpleasures.ca with your order number.

If something goes wrong

If a parcel arrives in packaging that isn't up to what's described on this page, tell us and we'll make it right — and fix the process. Email hello@redpleasures.ca.
