The Gravity's insertable shaft is body-safe silicone with a smooth, seamless finish; the internal drive mechanism and base housing use stainless steel and rigid plastic. It is free from phthalates and contains no latex. Because the silicone surface will bond with silicone lubricant, use water-based lube only.
How to use, clean, and store
The first-5-minutes card in your box has the short version. This is the extended guide.
- Charge fully before first use — snap the magnetic cable onto the contact pins on the base and leave it for about two hours.
- Wash the shaft with mild unscented soap and warm water, then dry it completely.
- For hands-free play, screw the suction cup onto the base and press it firmly onto a clean, dry, smooth surface — tile, glass, a sealed floor. Give it a tug to confirm it has gripped before you start.
- Apply a generous amount of water-based lubricant. Do not use silicone-based lube: it reacts with the silicone shaft and will permanently damage the surface.
- To use it without your phone, press and hold the power button to switch on, then tap the thrust button and the vibration button to step through their levels independently.
- To pair with the app, download Lovense Remote, switch the toy on, open the app and tap "+" to add a device. Hold the toy near your phone until it connects. It will remember the pairing afterwards.
- In the app you can run thrusting and vibration separately, build your own patterns, sync to music, or hand control to a partner over any distance.
- Start at the lowest thrust speed and build up. Reapply lube whenever the motion starts to feel dry.
- Switch off with a long press when you're done.
- Switch the toy fully off before cleaning. Never clean it while the shaft is moving.
- Unscrew and remove the suction cup. Wash it separately in warm soapy water and dry it.
- The Gravity is IPX6 — splash- and jet-resistant, but not submersible. Never immerse it, and keep the base and charging pins away from running water.
- Clean the silicone shaft with a soft cloth, warm water and mild unscented soap or a dedicated toy cleaner. Work along the length rather than scrubbing across it.
- The seam where the shaft enters the base is where lube and debris collect. Gently ease that join open with your fingers and run a damp cotton swab all the way around it, then a dry one. Don't push anything sharp or rigid into the gap.
- Rinse the shaft under a light stream of warm water, angling the toy so water runs down and away from the base. Keep the base itself out of the stream.
- Pat dry with a lint-free cloth, then stand the toy shaft-up and let it air-dry completely — several hours — before storing or charging. Trapped moisture around the drive seal is the main thing that shortens a thruster's life.
- Never use alcohol, bleach, silicone lube or abrasive cleaners on the silicone, and never put it in a dishwasher or boiling water.
- Make sure the toy is completely dry, inside the base seam as well as on the surface, before it goes away.
- Remove the suction cup and store it separately so the base isn't left under pressure.
- Keep it in the storage pouch it came with, or another breathable cotton or satin bag — never sealed in plastic.
- Store silicone away from other silicone toys; direct contact can cause them to mark or degrade one another.
- Choose a cool, dry, dark spot out of direct sunlight and away from heaters.
- Top the battery up every few months if you're not using it regularly, so the cell doesn't sit fully flat.
