Why No Returns? Your Health First

Why no returns? Your health and safety come first.

Due to the intimate nature of our products, all sales are final – we do not accept returns or provide cash refunds on sex toys or other intimate items once they leave our warehouse (except for defects or wrong shipments).

This protects YOU: We would never resell an item that another customer has opened, handled, or even just decided wasn't for them. Once an item leaves our control, we can't guarantee its hygiene or safety – so it never goes back on the shelf. This policy ensures every product you buy is brand new, factory‑sealed, and untouched by anyone else. Most adult stores follow the same rule for the same reason.

We go further with our 48‑hour satisfaction exchange/store credit – because we want you happy without compromising anyone's safety.


Non-Returnable Items (Hygiene & Safety)

The following items are non‑returnable and non‑refundable once they have left our warehouse, whether opened or unopened, except in the case of confirmed defects or shipping errors:

  • All sex toys (vibrators, dildos, anal toys, beads, plugs, strokers, pumps, etc.).
  • Any item designed to come into contact with any body part or fluid (cock rings, sleeves, douche/enema kits, restraints, gags, harnesses, etc.).
  • Lingerie, underwear, bodysuits, and similar intimate apparel.
  • Lubricants, condoms, massage oils, lotions, body paints and other consumables.
  • Clearance or final‑sale items where indicated on the product page.
  • Gift cards, store credits and digital products.

Peace of mind guarantee: No returned intimate products are ever resold or reused. Once shipped, they're considered "used" for hygiene reasons and would be safely disposed of if returned (though we don't accept them back). You can shop with confidence knowing your purchase is pristine and private – just like we ensure for every customer.

Once these items leave our warehouse they are considered used and cannot be returned.


48-Hour Satisfaction Exchange / Store Credit

  • We offer a limited satisfaction option that goes beyond most adult stores:
  • If you do not like a product after opening and first trying it, you may request an exchange or store credit only (no refunds) within 48 hours of the delivery timestamp shown by the carrier.
  • This policy applies only to purchases made directly from redpleasures.ca and only to items used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • To qualify, you must:
    • Email hello@redpleasures.ca within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a description of the issue.
    • Confirm that the item was used only once, with proper hygiene and care.
  • For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not ask you to ship used intimate items back to us. They must be safely disposed of by you locally in accordance with your municipal guidelines.
  • We reserve the right to limit or refuse satisfaction exchanges/store credits in cases of suspected abuse (for example, repeated claims on multiple orders).

Defective or Wrong Items

Damaged on arrival

  • If your order arrives visibly damaged, you must contact hello@redpleasures.ca within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of:
    • the shipping label,
    • the outer packaging, and
    • the damaged product.
  • Do not discard any packaging until we confirm next steps, as the carrier or manufacturer may require inspection.

Suspected manufacturing defect

  • If a product appears defective within 7 days of delivery (e.g., will not power on, will not charge, significant malfunction under normal use), stop using it immediately and email hello@redpleasures.ca.
  • We may request photos, a short video, or simple troubleshooting steps to confirm the defect, consistent with practices at other Canadian adult retailers.
  • Once we confirm a defect, we will, at our discretion and subject to manufacturer policies:
    • replace the item with the same model, or
    • provide a store credit for the purchase price if a replacement is unavailable.
  • We are not responsible for defects caused by misuse, lack of care, normal wear and tear, or modifications.

What Is and Isn’t Covered

Covered situations (subject to our review):

  • Product is dead on arrival or fails on first use under normal conditions.
  • You received the wrong item, size, colour, or model compared to your order confirmation.
  • You did not like the product after first use and contacted us within 48 hours for an exchange or store credit (satisfaction policy above).

Not covered:

  • Change of mind outside the 48‑hour satisfaction window.
  • Damage due to misuse, accidents, improper cleaning, or failure to follow instructions.
  • Normal wear and tear, battery depletion over time, cosmetic scratches, etc.
  • Any claim made without reasonable proof/evidence where requested.

How to Request Help

To request an exchange, store credit, or defect review:

  1. Email hello@redpleasures.ca with:
    1. Full name
    2. Order number
    3. Product name
    4. Description of the issue
    5. Clear photos and/or a short video (for damage/defects).
  2. Wait for our response with next steps or a decision (typically within 1-2 business days).
  3. Do not mail any used intimate product back to us unless we specifically instruct you to do so. Unauthorized returns will be refused and destroyed without credit.

Where we approve a replacement for a defective product and require the original back, you must return it in its original packaging where possible, sealed inside a secondary bag for sanitary reasons, consistent with industry practice.


Refunds

  • We generally do not provide cash or card refunds on intimate products. Other Canadian adult retailers often restrict these products to exchanges or credit only for health and safety reasons, and we adopt the same approach.
  • In rare cases where a refund is required by law or approved at our sole discretion, it will be processed to the original method of payment, less any shipping fees and non‑refundable charges.

Common Questions

  • Will I get someone else's returned item? No way. We don't accept returns on intimate products precisely so we never have to resell them. Everything you buy is new from our suppliers, tested only by us (if needed), and sealed until it reaches you.
  • What if I don't like it? Use our 48‑hour satisfaction policy for an exchange or store credit – no shipping back required, and no risk to hygiene.
  • Why is this different from other shopping? Intimate products can't be reliably sterilized or verified as unused, so industry standards (and health guidelines) prevent resale to protect everyone.

  • Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any mandatory consumer rights you may have under Ontario or Canadian law. Where Ontario or federal consumer protection law gives you rights that conflict with this policy, those laws will prevail.
  • This policy is offered by Chhokra Inc, operating as Red Pleasures and The Planet Mars, from Ontario, Canada. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute relating to this policy or your purchase will be governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada and handled in the courts of Ontario.
