About Red Pleasures
Your body deserves better.
Red Pleasures is an Ottawa-based Canadian sexual wellness store. We curate body-safe intimate products and deliver them with plain packaging, neutral billing, and support from a real person.
We're small, we're Canadian, and we're deliberately not trying to be the biggest catalogue in the country.
What we're actually for
Shopping for intimate products usually means choosing between two bad options: cheap products made of materials nobody will name, or good products sold in a way that makes you feel like you should be embarrassed.
We think sexual wellness is health, and that buying it should feel ordinary. So we built the store around three things.
1. Materials we can name
Every product we list has its material disclosed by the manufacturer. If a manufacturer won't say what a product is made of, we don't stock it — a rule that has cost us margin more than once.
We prioritize non-porous, phthalate-free materials: medical-grade silicone, borosilicate glass, stainless steel, and ABS plastic. Where we carry something porous — some strokers are only made in TPE — we say so on the product page and tell you what that means for cleaning and lifespan.
We reference ISO 3533:2021, the international safety standard for this product category, when evaluating what to stock. It's a voluntary standard, and we don't claim every product we sell is certified against it — but we prefer brands that build to it.

2. Privacy you don't have to ask for
- Plain, unmarked packaging with a neutral return address
- Charges appear as CHHOKRA INC, never as "Red Pleasures"
- No invoice or catalogue inside the box — your receipt is emailed
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we don't upload customer lists to advertising platforms

3. Information, not marketing
Our guides and product pages exist to help you choose correctly the first time: what body-safe materials actually are, which lubricant works with which material, how to clean and store things properly, and what to look for if you're buying your first anything.
We'd rather you buy one product that's right than three that aren't.
How we choose what to stock
- Full material disclosure from the manufacturer — non-negotiable
- Non-porous materials wherever the product category allows it
- A real manufacturer warranty — a brand that stands behind a product for a year or more is telling you something
- Genuine safety features — flared bases on anything insertable anally, honest waterproof ratings, sealed charging
- Build quality that justifies the price. Premium should mean better made, not just more expensive
What we won't do
- Stock a product whose materials the manufacturer won't disclose
- Claim a certification a product doesn't hold
- Publish review counts or customer numbers we can't stand behind
- Run a permanent "sale" that isn't one
- Send you marketing you didn't ask for
