Liberator did not invent foam. It invented the idea that a piece of foam in your bedroom could be furniture rather than a secret — and the Wedge is where that started. Liberator's own product page calls it "the original sex wedge pillow" and says it helped pioneer the modern sex pillow category. Every heart-shaped, waterproof, travel-sized thing in this collection is downstream of a 24-inch black wedge.

The object itself is almost aggressively simple. A block of furniture-grade high-density polyurethane foam, cut to a 27-degree incline: 24 inches wide, 14 deep, 7 tall at the high edge. A velvet-finish microfiber cover that unzips and goes in a cold wash. A moisture-resistant liner between the two, doing the quiet work of keeping the foam out of the laundry. That is the entire product. There is no motor, no app, no charging cable, no firmware.
What you are paying for is the foam's refusal to move. A stack of bed pillows compresses under weight and slides apart at exactly the wrong moment; the Wedge does neither. Independent reviewers keep landing on the same point — that once you place it, it stays placed, and that trying to compress it by hand gets you nowhere.
It is made in Atlanta. Liberator's parent, Luvu Brands, is the largest sex-furniture manufacturer in the United States — sourcing materials locally and recycling its own foam offcuts into bean bags and pool floats. For a category built largely on anonymous overseas moulding, knowing which building your foam was cut in is unusual.
We are not going to tell you it is a bargain. At CAD 170 it costs roughly eight times a pillow, and reviewers name the price as the single biggest drawback. It is also bulky — 24 by 14 by 7 inches of foam that will not fold, will not go back in its shipping bag, and needs somewhere to live. If your bedroom is small or your budget is the deciding factor, that is a real reason to say no, and the Jaz is the smaller shape.
