Liberator has been making foam-and-fabric positioning shapes for two decades, and most of them look exactly like what they are: a black wedge, a black ramp, a piece of equipment. The Heart Wedge is the one that went the other way. Liberator's own URL for it is still decor-heart-wedge, and the company's copy says it's "available in chic colors that blend seamlessly with your decor." That's not a retailer's spin. It's the design brief.
Heart-shaped Liberator wedge sold in decor colours — designed to stay out on the bed.
Physically it's simple. Eighteen inches across at the widest point, fourteen deep, seven high. The core is what Liberator calls furniture-grade high-density polyurethane — the same class of foam that goes into upholstered seating, not the compressible fill in a bed pillow. That's the whole functional argument for spending money here instead of stacking cushions: cushions squash under load and the angle disappears; this holds the incline. Slide it under the hips and it raises them by seven inches, which changes the angle. That's a geometry fact, and we'll leave it at that.
Over the foam sits a moisture-resistant inner liner, and over that the part you actually touch: a plush microvelvet cover in 100% polyester, in Rose. The cover unzips and goes in the washing machine. The liner's job is to keep the foam clean, not to make the cover waterproof — so the fabric is the layer that takes the hit, and washing it is the whole maintenance story.
The reason we stock this one alongside the plain black Wedge is the part that doesn't show up in a spec table. If you share a home with roommates, or your parents visit, or you'd simply rather not keep a bag under the bed, an object that reads as a throw pillow is worth something real.
It's also the most expensive thing in this collection, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Liberator's plain 24-inch Wedge costs less and gives you ten more inches of surface to work with. If nobody ever sees your bedroom and you want maximum angles per dollar, buy that one. The Heart Wedge is for the person who wants the support and doesn't want the object to announce itself.
We hold all of it in Ottawa. Ships in a plain box, 12-month Liberator warranty on sewing, 30 days on our Pleasure Promise.
