Is the We-Vibe Verge waterproof, and can I clean it under the tap?
It is rated IPX7 by the listings we can reach, and we still tell you not to submerge it. Both halves of that are deliberate. Three independent retailers state IPX7, which means fully submersible, in what reads as We-Vibe's own marketing wording reproduced on their pages — and We-Vibe's current page for this model is unreachable, so no manufacturer document confirms the rating for us. A rating at that evidence level is not enough for us to tell you to put a lithium-polymer device under water. So: wash it with warm water and a mild unscented soap or a toy cleaner, rinse and wipe rather than soak, pay attention to the inside of the ring and the join around the stimulator where lubricant collects, keep water off the magnetic charging contacts, and dry it fully before storing. Do not boil it and do not put it in a dishwasher. If We-Vibe's own page becomes readable again and confirms IPX7, this advice relaxes.
Usage
How big is the ring, and will it fit?
We cannot tell you, and we would rather say that than guess. The Verge is worn at the base, with a flat stimulator that sits underneath against the perineum rather than wrapping the shaft. The one measurement that decides fit is the inner ring diameter, and two Canadian retailers publish figures roughly 20 per cent apart — 5.08 cm at one, 4.3 cm at another. No manufacturer figure exists to settle it, and no source publishes a stretch range at all, only a static diameter. So the measurement is off this page rather than picked at random. Battery
How long does the battery last, and how does it charge?
About two hours of runtime from a 90-minute charge. That is agreed across four retailer listings and is one of only two figures on this product with that much agreement, but no We-Vibe document confirms it. Charge it fully before first use. It charges on We-Vibe's proprietary magnetic pin cable, the same style of cable the brand shares across several of its toys, and the contacts want to be dry before it goes back on charge. We are not going to list what else is in the box: the two retailer box-content lists we found contradict each other and one of them names a different We-Vibe product entirely, so anything we said about a pouch, a printed guide or a spare cable would be invented. Plan on supplying your own storage pouch.

Does the app control still work, and how many vibration modes are there?
The hardware pairs with a phone over Bluetooth on iOS and Android, and the settings can be changed in the room or from a distance. Four independent retailer listings describe that capability, so it is not in doubt as hardware. What is in doubt is the app. Every one of those listings names "We-Connect", which is We-Vibe's older app branding, and no source we can reach states which We-Vibe app this 2017 hardware pairs with today — the brand publishes no live page for this model and its support section is closed to us. So we name no app on this page and we do not present app control as a service we can stand behind. If the app is why you are buying it, pair it before you plan a session around it rather than mid-session, and the free 30-day return by mail covers you if it will not connect. We also cannot tell you how many vibration modes it has: retailer listings variously claim six, seven, eight and ten-plus, and there is no manufacturer specification to arbitrate between them. Is this the same thing as the We-Vibe Verge 2?
No, and this is the single most common mix-up on this product. The Verge 2 is a later and different toy, and it is what We-Vibe currently sells under the Verge name. What we hold is the original 2017 Verge, SKU WE6805, barcode 839289006805, in slate. If you go looking for Verge reviews before you buy, most of what comes back will be about the Verge 2 — one large retailer serves Verge 2 content on a page whose address contains no "2" at all, with Verge 2 customer reviews sitting under it. We read those reviews and left every one of them off this page rather than pass another product's feedback off as feedback on this one.
Body-Safe
What is it made of, and is it body-safe?
Two retailer listings describe body-safe silicone, free from phthalates, BPA and latex, and one of them adds ABS plastic. Their wording is near-identical, which reads as one shared upstream source rather than two independent confirmations, and We-Vibe publishes no material statement for this model that we can reach. So we do not put our phthalate-free or non-porous badge on this listing, and we make no material certification of any kind here. Use water-based lubricant only — silicone lubricant degrades a silicone body. This is not a medical device and we make no claim about erectile function or circulation. Stop if you feel numbness, pinching or discomfort, and do not wear it for extended periods.

Why does this cost more here than at other Canadian shops?
It does, and we will not pretend otherwise — at least two Canadian shops list this same slate colourway for less than we do, and you can confirm that in about thirty seconds. What you get from us is a unit we hold in Ottawa rather than drop-ship, plain packaging, a free 30-day return by mail, and a page that tells you plainly what is not known about this product instead of filling the gaps with recycled retailer copy. If the lowest price on a vibrating ring is what you are after, this is not it, and we would rather say so here than have you find out afterwards.

What warranty does it come with, and how do shipping and returns work?
On the warranty we will be precise about who is saying it. Two Canadian retailers state a two-year manufacturer's warranty on this model — one as a "2-year manufacturer's warranty", the other as two years from purchase from the manufacturer — and two years is also We-Vibe's blanket policy across its range. What we do not have is a live We-Vibe page for this particular model, so the two years is retailer-stated rather than something we have read from We-Vibe about the Verge itself, and this is a 2017 product whose current support status we cannot confirm. We publish the figure because two independent retailers agree and nothing contradicts them, not because We-Vibe has told us, and we would rather you knew that than found out during a claim.
