Who this is for

For couples who want a wearable vibrator with app and remote control, including over distance. Retention is genuinely mixed: two reviewers found it held steady in solo use, while a cluster of Walmart customers report it shifting or falling out. One detailed reviewer found the internal loop bordering on painful and ruled out penetration alongside it. Not for sensitive vaginal tissue.

Body-Safe Verified

Body-safe by design — not by claim.

The Sync O is made from body-safe silicone, free from phthalates and BPA, and made without latex. It is rated IPX7. Use water-based lubricant only — silicone lubricant bonds to silicone and ruins it permanently. This is not a medical device. Stop using it if you feel discomfort, and clean it thoroughly before sharing it between people.

Common questions

Real questions, answered by the team that tested it.

Usage
Does the O-shaped arm actually stay in place, including during sex?
The sources disagree and we are not going to resolve it for you. We-Vibe's own claim is that the O-shaped internal arm keeps the toy in place. Two independent reviewers back that up: both wrote that it held stationary while they walked around. But both were testing it solo and without penetration, and one of them says so explicitly. Against that, We-Vibe's Sync O listings at Walmart sit at 3.2 out of 5 across 31 reviews, and the one-star cluster is specifically about retention — too big to stay in, falling out, time spent readjusting. Our reading is that the enthusiast reviewers wore it around the house while the retail customers used it during sex, but no Walmart reviewer states their use context, so that is our inference and not something anyone has established. If guaranteed retention during penetrative sex is the reason you are buying it, buy it knowing the question is open. Test it privately before you rely on it.
Usage
What does the internal loop feel like, and can anything else go in alongside it?
One detailed reviewer found the insertable loop uncomfortable, bordering on painful, to wear, described the outward pressure on the vaginal walls in thoroughly unflattering terms, and ruled out getting a partner or a dildo inside alongside it. A second reviewer met the same bulk from a different direction and found the arm got in the way while topping with a strap-on. That is the whole of the first-hand evidence on this question: two people, two situations, one underlying complaint about bulk. It is not enough to call it a rule, and it is also the only published answer that exists. The fit is anatomy-dependent in a way the marketing does not admit. We list this product as suiting all levels because nothing in the controls or the care is difficult, but read that as a statement about operating it rather than about how the internal loop will suit your body — on that, the two accounts above are the whole of the published record. If internal pressure reads as discomfort rather than pleasure for you, this is not your toy. Stop using it if it hurts.
General
Is the app reliable enough for long-distance play?
Mixed, and the unreliability is well attested. Three independent sources — two reviewer blogs and the Walmart customer reviews — report disconnects, crashes and lag, and one Walmart reviewer puts the effective range at about 20 cm. Other Walmart customers describe long-distance play working well for them. The free We-Vibe App is reported to run on iOS and Android; that comes from a reviewer, because We-Vibe publishes no platform list we could reach. Pair the toy before you need it rather than in the moment. Long-distance control is the headline use case for this product and it is also the least reliable part of it. The toy works entirely without a phone using the button on the unit or the remote in the box.
Battery
How long does the battery last, and how does it charge?
We-Vibe states 150 minutes of runtime from a 90-minute charge. Both figures come from We-Vibe's own product page and neither has been independently bench-tested for this model, so treat them as the manufacturer's numbers rather than measured ones. One USB cable comes in the box and there is no spare. We will not tell you which connector it uses: We-Vibe says only "USB cable", the US distributor says "USB magnetic charging cable", and no source anywhere states USB-C or micro-USB. Charge it fully before first use, and top it up every few months if it is sitting unused.
Usage
Is the Sync O waterproof, and how do I clean it?
Yes. We-Vibe rates it IPX7 on its own product page, which means fully submersible, so bath and shower use are fine and you can rinse it under running water. Two things worth knowing. The rating is the manufacturer's own, not a third-party test result. And no Sync O user manual is indexed anywhere we could reach, so the rest of the cleaning advice is standard silicone practice rather than a We-Vibe instruction: warm water with a mild soap or a gentle toy cleaner, pay attention to the inside of the O and the gap at the hinge where lubricant collects, and dry it completely before it goes away. Do not boil it and do not put it in a dishwasher — it holds a lithium-ion battery.
Body-Safe
What is it made of, and what lubricant can I use?
We-Vibe states body-safe silicone, free from phthalates and BPA and made without latex. That is the manufacturer's own wording, which is why we publish it. What We-Vibe does not say anywhere in its copy for this model is "non-porous" or "medical-grade", so we claim neither — silicone generally is non-porous, but our body-safe badge does not go on a category inference. Use water-based lubricant only. Silicone lubricant bonds to a silicone surface and ruins it permanently. This is not a medical device and Red Pleasures makes no health claims for it. Clean it thoroughly before sharing it between people.
General
How strong is it, and how many settings does it have?
On strength there are two answers and they conflict. Two reviewer blogs describe the motor as rumbly and deep. A meaningful group of Walmart customers describe it as minimal or weak, and at least one ties that judgement directly to the price. Both are real reports and we are not picking a winner between them. On the count: retailers list "10 intensity levels" almost universally, and We-Vibe's own page states no number at all — it says only that there are different vibration pattern modes and intensity levels. Because that number traces to retail copy rather than to the manufacturer, we do not publish it as a specification. Count them yourself the first time.
Shipping
How does it ship, and what happens if it is not right for me?
Red Pleasures holds and ships every unit from Ottawa in plain packaging. Because it ships domestically there are no customs forms and no border delays, and returns are free by mail within 30 days. Given how anatomy-dependent the fit is on this product, that return window is worth reading twice before you commit. It carries a two-year We-Vibe warranty. We will be straight with you: we have not been able to confirm how that warranty is administered in Canada, so if warranty service matters to you, ask us before you buy rather than after.

How to use, clean, and store

The first-5-minutes card in your box has the short version. This is the extended guide.

  1. 1. Charge fully before first use — allow 90 minutes.
  2. 2. Apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to the internal loop.
  3. 3. Squeeze the sides of the O together and insert the internal arm, then let it open inside you.
  4. 4. Settle the external arm over the clitoris. The hinge between the two arms flexes, so adjust the angle until it sits where you want it.
  5. 5. Press the button on the toy to power on and move through the vibration patterns and intensity levels, or use the included remote.
  6. 6. For app and long-distance control, pair the toy with the We-Vibe app on iOS or Android before you need it, not in the moment.
  7. 7. Silicone lubricant will ruin the silicone body. Water-based only.
Important: Never boil this product or put it in a dishwasher — it holds a lithium-ion battery. Use water-based lubricant only; silicone lubricant bonds to the silicone body and ruins it permanently. Dry it completely before it goes back in the storage bag.
  1. 1. Switch off and disconnect from the charger before cleaning.
  2. 2. Wash in warm water with a mild soap or a gentle toy cleaner.
  3. 3. The manufacturer's IPX7 rating means the unit can be fully submerged, so rinsing under running water is safe.
  4. 4. Pay attention to the inside of the O and the gap at the hinge, where lubricant collects.
  5. 5. Dry it completely before it goes away.
  6. 6. Do not boil it and do not put it in a dishwasher.
  1. Store it clean, dry and unplugged. A storage bag is included in the box, though one reviewer found it impractical in use — any dust-free pouch does the same job. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat, and do not let it rest against other silicone products, because different silicone grades can bond over time. Top the charge up every few months if it is sitting unused.
  1. Squeeze the sides of the O together to insert, then let it open inside
  2. Charge it fully first — 90 minutes buys you 150 minutes of runtime
  3. Pair the app before you need it; the connection is the weak point
  4. Water-based lube only — silicone lube destroys silicone permanently
  5. If the internal loop reads as pressure rather than pleasure, stop

The Sync O Rechargeable C-Shape Couples Vibrator in Purple – We-Vibe story

Why we made it this way.

The Sync O is We-Vibe's wearable couples vibrator, and the design rests on one part: a flexible silicone loop, an O rather than a bar, that you squeeze closed to insert and that opens again inside you. We-Vibe's own copy says the loop "holds Sync O steady without being intrusive or distracting". The external arm sits over the clitoris, an adjustable hinge between the two arms flexes to suit different body shapes, and the whole thing runs from a single-button remote or from the We-Vibe app, including over distance.

An O-shaped flexible silicone loop that squeezes closed to insert and opens again inside.

The manufacturer specification is straightforward and we have taken it from We-Vibe directly: 80 × 44 × 44.5 mm, body-safe silicone free from phthalates, BPA and latex, IPX7 and fully submersible, 150 minutes of runtime on a 90-minute charge, two-year warranty. A remote, a cable and a storage bag are in the box.

What happens after that is where the sources stop agreeing, and this is the part worth reading before you buy.

Two independent reviewers tested the loop and liked it. Elia Winters wrote that "Once in place, the O opens up and holds the toy stationary, even when I'm walking around." Kelvin Sparks wrote that "In testing, I found I was able to get up and walk around with it inserted with very little shifting of the toy." Both are describing solo, non-penetrative wear — Winters says as much explicitly. Neither tested it during partnered penetration.

The customers who did are less impressed. Across We-Vibe's Sync O listings at Walmart the aggregate sits at 3.2 out of 5 from 31 reviews, and the one-star cluster is specifically about retention: too big to stay in, falling out, time spent readjusting. We are not going to sell you the O-arm as a solved problem. Two enthusiast reviewers wearing it around the house and a body of retail customers using it during sex reached opposite conclusions, and nothing we found reconciles them.

The same split runs through vibration strength. Kelvin Sparks and Amy at Coffee & Kink both describe the motor as rumbly and deep. A meaningful group of Walmart reviewers describe it as minimal or weak — one of them, paraphrasing, ties that directly to the price and tells you to keep your money. Take both as real.

Amy's review is the one to read if you are unsure about fit. She found the internal loop bordering on painful for her anatomy, compared the outward pressure on the vaginal walls to a speculum, and ruled out getting a partner or a dildo inside alongside it. Kelvin Sparks met the same bulk from another direction, finding the arm got in the way while topping with a strap-on. If internal pressure reads as uncomfortable rather than pleasurable for you, this is not your toy.

The app is the other recurring complaint. Disconnects, crashes, lag over distance, and one Walmart reviewer reporting an effective range of about 20 cm. Long-distance is the headline use case and it is also the least reliable one.

We stock it at $218.95 because when the fit works it does something very few toys do — hands-free wear, fully waterproof, remote and app control — from a manufacturer that publishes its material and its IP rating and stands behind two years of warranty. But it is anatomy-dependent in a way the marketing does not admit, and if you are buying it specifically for use during penetrative sex, read the Walmart paragraph again first.

Pleasure With Purpose

Every purchase helps women impacted by sexual exploitation.

Pleasure With Purpose is our promise that pleasure should never come at anyone's expense. Launched in 2026 — our very first year in business — it directs 5% of every purchase to Canadian charities that support women impacted by sexual exploitation. We chose to start on day one, rather than "once we could afford it," because a brand built on consensual pleasure owes something to the women the wider industry has harmed. Every year we'll publish the numbers, the recipients, and the receipts.
