Body-safe by design — not by claim.

Silicone is what makes this one worth owning. It's a non-porous material — nothing soaks in, nothing lingers, so a quick wash with mild unscented soap gets it genuinely clean every time. No phthalates, no latex, none of the porous jelly that degrades in a drawer. The Jewel is water resistant, so splashes and a rinse under the tap are fine; it isn't built for full immersion, so keep it out of the bath. Adults 18+, and wash it before and after every use.

Common questions

Real questions, answered by the team that tested it.

Usage
What is air pulse, and how is it different from a vibrator?
Air pulse works by moving air in and out of a small sealed chamber held over the clitoris, so the sensation comes from changing pressure rather than from a motor buzzing against you. Many people find it feels less numbing over time than direct vibration.
Usage
How many settings does it have?
Seven air pulse suction patterns, cycled with a single button.
Body-Safe
What is it made of?
Silicone — non-porous, phthalate-free and easy to keep clean. Wash it with mild unscented soap; skip antibacterial soaps, which can degrade silicone over time.
Usage
Is the Sugar Pop Jewel waterproof?
It's water resistant — splashes and a rinse under the tap are fine, so cleaning is easy. It isn't built for full immersion, so keep it out of the bath and shower.
Battery
How long does the battery last?
Charge it fully with the included USB cord before first use, and top it up every few months if it's sitting in a drawer. We'll publish exact runtime figures here once we've timed a unit ourselves.
Warranty
Does it come with a warranty?
Yes — NS Novelties covers their range with a one-year warranty against malfunction and failure from regular use. Keep your order confirmation; that's all we need to help you make a claim.
Shipping
Is shipping discreet?
Yes. Every order ships Canada-wide in a plain, unbranded box — no logo, no brand name, and no description of the contents anywhere on the outside. Your bank or credit card statement shows the charge as SP RP Chhokra Inc., so "Red Pleasures" never appears there either.

How to use, clean, and store

The first-5-minutes card in your box has the short version. This is the extended guide.

  1. 1. Charge it fully with the included USB cord before the first use.
  2. 2. Wash the silicone with mild, unscented soap and warm water, then dry it.
  3. 3. Add a small amount of lubricant around the opening if you want less friction.
  4. 4. Hold the opening over the clitoris so it seals — it should rest, not press.
  5. 5. Press the button to move through the seven air pulse patterns.
  6. 6. Lift it away from the body for a moment if a pattern feels too intense.
  7. 7. Rinse and dry it before putting it away.
Important: Do not boil this product and do not put it in a dishwasher — it holds a rechargeable battery, and the electronics will fail. Do not submerge it either. NS Novelties rates it water resistant, not waterproof.
  1. 1. Rinse the silicone under warm running water before and after every use.
  2. 2. Use a small amount of mild, unscented soap. Skip antibacterial soaps — they can degrade silicone over time.
  3. 3. Do not submerge it. NS Novelties rates this toy water resistant, not waterproof.
  4. 4. Clean inside the air pulse opening, where lubricant and fluid collect.
  5. 5. Pat it dry with a lint-free cloth.
  6. 6. Let it air dry fully before you store it.
  1. 1. Store it dry — moisture left inside the air pulse opening is what causes odour.
  2. 2. Keep it in a fabric pouch or a clean drawer, out of direct sunlight.
  3. 3. Do not store it touching other silicone toys; silicone can react with silicone over time.
  4. 4. Keep the charging cord with it so you can top it up before you travel.
  5. 5. Charge it every few months even when you are not using it, to protect the battery.
  1. Charge it fully first — it ships partly charged at best
  2. Seal the opening over the clitoris; don't press it down hard
  3. Start on pattern one. Intensity builds faster than you expect
  4. A little lubricant improves both the seal and the sensation
  5. Take your time — air pulse feels different from vibration

The Sugar Pop Jewel Air Pulse Clitoral Stimulator — NS Novelties story

Why we made it this way.

Air pulse is the technology that changed what a clitoral toy could feel like. Instead of pressing a motor against you, an air pulse toy seals a small chamber over the clitoris and moves air in and out of it, so the sensation arrives as changing pressure rather than as buzzing. People who find vibrators go numb after a few minutes often get on much better with it. The catch has always been price: the toys that made air pulse famous start around a hundred and fifty dollars in Canada, which is a lot to spend on a sensation you have never felt.

A gem-shaped air pulse stimulator that reads as an ornament, not a toy, when it is left out.

The Sugar Pop Jewel is NS Novelties' answer to that. It is a small silicone stimulator shaped like a cut gem, with seven preset suction patterns and a single button. There is no app, no display and nothing to configure. You charge it with the included USB cord, hold the opening against you until it seals, and press the button until you find a pattern you like.

The shape is doing more work than it looks like. A gem sitting on a nightstand reads as an ornament. That matters if you share a home, or if you would rather a visitor's eye slide past it. At just under three inches on its longest side, it also disappears into a toiletry bag, which is where the manufacturer's 'travel friendly' description earns itself.

What you get is deliberately simple: a silicone body, seven patterns, a USB cord and a one-year warranty from NS Novelties. It is water resistant rather than waterproof, so it handles a rinse under the tap but not a bath. We publish what the manufacturer stands behind, and we would rather leave a number out than guess at it.

We should also tell you that stock of the Jewel is limited, and once it is gone we do not expect to be able to restock it. We brought it in because the entry rung of the air pulse ladder in Canada has been empty for a while, and this fills it honestly at a price where trying something new does not have to be a commitment.

If you already know that air pulse works for you and you want stronger, adjustable suction, the Womanizer Premium 2 is the step up we would point you at instead.

Pleasure With Purpose

Every purchase helps women impacted by sexual exploitation.

Pleasure With Purpose is our promise that pleasure should never come at anyone's expense. Launched in 2026 — our very first year in business — it directs 5% of every purchase to Canadian charities that support women impacted by sexual exploitation. We chose to start on day one, rather than "once we could afford it," because a brand built on consensual pleasure owes something to the women the wider industry has harmed. Every year we'll publish the numbers, the recipients, and the receipts.
