How to use, clean, and store
The first-5-minutes card in your box has the short version. This is the extended guide.
- Charge the PleX with Flex fully before first use, and make sure the remote's battery tab or cover is in place so the remote is live.
- Wash the plug with warm water and mild unscented soap, then dry it completely.
- Apply a generous amount of water-based lubricant to the plug and to yourself. Water-based only — silicone-based formulas can damage the silicone surface. Reapply as often as you need.
- Get comfortable and relaxed. Insert slowly, letting the tapered tip do the work, and stop at any point that feels like effort rather than pleasure.
- Once it's seated, let the flexible base settle against your body. It bends up to 90 degrees in any direction, so it will fold rather than jab when you sit, kneel or lie back — no need to hold it in position.
- Press and hold the power button on the base to switch on. There's no pairing step for the remote: pick it up and press a button, and it takes over straight away.
- Set the Treble motor and the Bass motor separately to taste — high-frequency buzz at the tip, deep rumble in the neck — then cycle through the 5 vibration patterns.
- Use the remote to change intensity mid-session without reaching for the base, or hand it to a partner. Point it roughly toward the toy for the most reliable response, especially through clothing or bedding.
- Hold the power button again to switch off. Remove slowly and gently.
- Switch the toy off and unplug the charging cable before cleaning.
- The plug is fully waterproof: wash it under warm running water with mild unscented soap or a dedicated toy cleaner, paying attention to the seam where the neck meets the base.
- Never put the remote under a tap or into water. The remote is not waterproof. Wipe it with a barely damp cloth and dry it straight away.
- Rinse the plug thoroughly so no soap residue is left on the silicone, then pat dry with a clean lint-free towel.
- Because this is an anal toy, clean it before and after every single use, and clean it again before sharing or switching between anal and any other kind of play.
- Let the plug air-dry completely before storing or charging. Make sure the charging contacts are dry before you connect the cable.
- Make sure the plug and the remote are both completely dry before putting them away.
- Store the plug in the included travel pouch, or a breathable cotton bag — never sealed in plastic.
- Keep it away from other silicone items. Silicone stored in direct contact with silicone can mark or degrade over time.
- Store the remote alongside the plug, somewhere dry and away from heat.
- Choose a cool, dark spot out of direct sunlight.
- Top the battery up every few months if you're not using it regularly — leaving a lithium-ion battery flat for long stretches shortens its life.
