The Lovense Max 2 is the second generation of Lovense's connected stroker, and it does something most masturbators don't: it moves on its own. Inside the white ABS shell, an air-pump system squeezes and releases the sleeve all the way around the shaft, while a built-in motor adds vibration underneath. You can run it with the two buttons on the body, or open the Lovense Remote app and take finer control of both.
360° air-pump contractions plus vibration — and your strokes can control a partner's Lovense toy
The sleeve that comes with this unit is the clear, frosted Neutral Sleeve: a round opening with a textured interior of ridges and nubs, made from soft TPE. Lovense also sells a vagina-shaped sleeve for the same body if you'd prefer a more anatomical entry. An adjustable air vent at the end lets you open things up for fuller strokes or close it for more suction, and a quick-release valve lets the pressure out if it ever feels like too much.
Where the Max 2 really stands apart is connection. Lovense built it as a long-distance toy: a partner can take control from anywhere through the app, and the Max 2 can also act as a controller itself, so your strokes drive another Lovense toy such as Nora. Independent reviewers who have used it for months consistently single out the app as the most reliable part of the experience.
The numbers are straightforward. Lovense lists the weight at 750 g, the charge time at about 100 minutes on its magnetic USB cable, and battery life at 95 to 215 minutes depending on how hard you run it. It's rated IPX6, which means it handles splashes and rinsing but shouldn't be submerged. At its loudest setting Lovense measures 52 dB, about as loud as a quiet office, and reviewers note the contractions are the noisiest part, so vibration-only play is the discreet option.
It isn't perfect, and we'd rather you know that before you buy. It's a full-size toy, about 24 cm long, and long one-handed sessions can tire your arm. Cleaning takes more care than a plain sleeve: the TPE sleeve slides out for rinsing, but the shell houses the motor and contraction chamber, so you rinse it with warm water rather than scrubbing. TPE also wears with use, so plan on a fresh sleeve every so often.
We stock the Max 2 because it's one of the few strokers that genuinely works as a couples' toy across any distance, and because Lovense backs the body with a one-year warranty. It ships in plain packaging. As with all intimate products, it can't be returned for change of mind. But if it arrives damaged, faulty or incomplete, tell us within 14 days and you choose a replacement or a full refund.
