Body-safe by design — not by claim.

These plugs are solid metal and they are heavy — 85 g for the smaller, 140 g for the larger — so the weight is doing real work and is noticeable from the moment it's in. Insert slowly with plenty of lubricant, and let the heavier plug be something you work up to rather than start with. The flared heart gem base is the retention feature: it must stay fully outside the body at all times, and you should be able to grip it easily before you begin. Metal transmits temperature quickly — if you warm or cool a plug, use running tap water only, never a microwave, boiling water, a freezer or ice, and always test it against the inside of your wrist first. The bodies are zinc alloy, so anyone with a known metal or nickel sensitivity should treat that as a reason for caution and start with brief contact. Stop and remove if you feel pain, pinching or numbness.

How to use, clean, and store

The first-5-minutes card in your box has the short version. This is the extended guide.

  1. Choose the smaller 85 g plug for your first several sessions. Set the 140 g plug aside until the smaller one goes in and stays in without effort.
  2. Bring the plug to a comfortable temperature. Run it under warm tap water for a minute, dry it, and test it against the inside of your wrist. Skip this step entirely if you're unsure — room temperature is always fine.
  3. Apply lubricant generously to the plug and to yourself. Any lubricant type works with metal, so use whichever you prefer, and use more than feels necessary.
  4. Get comfortable — lying on your side with knees drawn up gives the easiest angle. Relax and breathe out as you begin.
  5. Press the tapered tip against the opening and let it ease in rather than pushing. The neck is slender, so the widest part passes quickly; pause the moment you feel resistance and let your body catch up.
  6. Stop once the narrow neck seats and the heart gem base rests flat outside the body. The base must remain fully outside at all times.
  7. Stay still for a minute. Weighted metal feels different from silicone — there's a steady downward pull that takes a moment to settle.
  8. Keep your first session short, twenty to thirty minutes seated, and build from there. Two hours is an outer limit, and the 140 g plug warrants less.
  9. To remove, relax, take hold of the base and draw it out slowly at the same angle it went in. Add lubricant around the base first if it feels tight.
  10. Move up to the 140 g plug only once the smaller one is genuinely effortless. Expect the extra weight to be noticeable immediately, particularly standing.
  1. Wash both plugs before first use and after every use.
  2. Use lukewarm water and a mild antibacterial soap, working over the whole surface including the neck and the groove where the gem meets the metal.
  3. Do not boil these plugs and do not put them in a dishwasher. The heart gems are acrylic and set into the base — sustained high heat can cloud the acrylic and weaken the setting.
  4. Avoid cleaners containing alcohol, acetone or petroleum solvents, and avoid abrasive pads or jewellery-cleaning solutions. Any of these can dull the metal or attack the gem.
  5. Rinse thoroughly so no soap residue is left behind.
  6. Dry completely with a lint-free cloth, paying attention to the base where water collects around the gem. Metal left damp can spot or tarnish over time.
  7. Let them air-dry fully before putting them away.
  1. Make sure both plugs are completely dry before storing — trapped moisture is what dulls metal finishes.
  2. Keep each plug in its own soft pouch or wrapped separately. Stored loose together, the two will chip each other's gems.
  3. Lay them flat rather than standing them on the gem base; the setting isn't designed to carry the plug's weight.
  4. Store somewhere cool, dry and out of direct sunlight, away from radiators and heat sources.
  5. Keep them separate from other metal items in a drawer, where knocks and scratches are the main risk.
  6. Give them a quick wash before the next use if they've been stored for a while.
Pleasure With Purpose

Every purchase helps women impacted by sexual exploitation.

Pleasure With Purpose is our promise that pleasure should never come at anyone's expense. Launched in 2026 — our very first year in business — it directs 5% of every purchase to Canadian charities that support women impacted by sexual exploitation. We chose to start on day one, rather than "once we could afford it," because a brand built on consensual pleasure owes something to the women the wider industry has harmed. Every year we'll publish the numbers, the recipients, and the receipts.
