Body-safe by design — not by claim.
Dua is moulded from body-safe silicone with a seamless matte finish. The silicone is non-porous, so it won't absorb fluids or harbour bacteria, and it wipes and rinses clean. It is phthalate-free and vegan — no animal-derived ingredients anywhere in the material. Use water-based lubricant only; silicone lubricant will degrade the surface over time.
How to use, clean, and store
The first-5-minutes card in your box has the short version. This is the extended guide.
- Charge Dua fully before the first use. Rest the magnetic charging head against the metallic end of the toy, next to the ON button — it will click into place on its own. The light flashes while charging and holds steady when full. Allow about two hours.
- Apply a generous amount of water-based lubricant to the longer internal arm. Water-based only — silicone lubricant will damage the silicone surface.
- Shape Dua to your body before inserting. Bend the two arms wider apart or closer together; the silicone holds whatever angle you set. A wider spread suits a longer torso, a tighter spread grips more firmly.
- Insert the internal arm so the curved tip sits against the front wall of the vagina, behind the pubic bone. Settle the shorter external arm flat against the clitoris. Adjust the bend once it's in place until both points make contact without pressure.
- Hold the + button for about two seconds to switch on. Use the buttons on the toy to move through the seven patterns and five speeds.
- To use the app, open the free Je Joue app with Bluetooth switched on and select Dua when it appears. Partner control works within the same room — around 30 feet.
- Run the two motors together or focus on one. Build slowly through the speeds rather than starting at the top; the low-frequency motors feel deeper the longer you stay with them.
- Switch off by holding the − button, then clean before storing.
- Clean Dua before and after every use.
- Rinse under warm running water and wash with a pH-neutral soap or a dedicated toy cleaner. Work around the join between the two arms, where lubricant collects.
- Keep the charging contacts out of the water stream and don't leave the toy soaking or submerged for long periods.
- Rinse the soap away completely.
- Pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth and leave it out until it is fully dry before storing or charging.
- Never boil Dua, put it in the dishwasher, or use alcohol, bleach or abrasive cleaners.
- Make sure Dua is completely dry and switched off before putting it away.
- Store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from heated surfaces or radiators.
- Keep it in a fabric pouch or its own box rather than loose in a drawer — silicone attracts lint and can react with other silicone toys stored against it.
- Store it in its natural relaxed shape rather than folded tightly, so the internal frame keeps its flex.
- Top up the charge every couple of months even if you haven't used it.
