Body-Safe Verified

Body-safe by design — not by claim.

The massage head is 100% body-safe, platinum-grade silicone — non-porous, latex-free and free from phthalates, so it won't absorb fluids or harbour bacteria and can be cleaned thoroughly between uses. The body is die-cast metal with a hand-applied Disco Black finish. Because it is mains-powered, the unit is not waterproof and must never be submerged or rinsed. Use water-based lubricant only, on the head.

How to use, clean, and store

The first-5-minutes card in your box has the short version. This is the extended guide.

  1. Screw the silicone head firmly onto the body, or fit one of the Die Cast 3 attachments if you're using one.
  2. Fit the correct plug adapter (UK, EU, US or AU/NZ) to the power supply and plug the wand into a wall socket. Keep the cable clear of the floor where it could be tripped over or pulled.
  3. Press the power button once to switch on. The wand starts at its lowest intensity.
  4. Add a little water-based lubricant to the silicone head if you want more glide. Water-based only, and keep lubricant away from the buttons.
  5. Use the plus and minus buttons to move smoothly up and down the intensity range. There are no fixed speeds, so you can settle anywhere that feels right.
  6. Move the head slowly in small circles against the skin, over clothing or a towel first if full contact feels too intense.
  7. For pulse mode, switch the wand off, then press and hold the power button for about three seconds to start it in escalating pulse.
  8. Do not run the wand continuously for more than 20 minutes at a time.
  9. Press the power button to switch off, then unplug it at the wall.
  1. Switch the wand off and unplug it from the wall before cleaning. Never clean it while it's connected to power.
  2. Never rinse the wand under a tap and never submerge any part of it. It is mains-powered and not waterproof — splashes can get inside the unit.
  3. Dampen a soft cloth with warm water and a little antibacterial hand soap, wring it out well, and wipe the silicone head thoroughly.
  4. Wipe the head again with a cloth dampened in clean water only, to lift any soap residue. A water-based toy cleaner sprayed onto the cloth, not onto the wand, works equally well.
  5. Wipe the metal body with a barely damp cloth, keeping moisture away from the buttons and the cable entry point.
  6. For a deeper clean, unscrew the silicone head from the body. The head alone may be washed in warm soapy water, then dried completely before it's screwed back on.
  7. Dry every part fully with a lint-free cloth and leave the wand to air for a few minutes before storing or plugging it back in.
  1. Unplug the wand at the wall and let it cool and dry completely before putting it away.
  2. Coil the 3-metre cable in loose, wide loops. Never wrap it tightly around the body and never kink it — the cable is the part most likely to fail over years of use.
  3. Never carry or pull the wand by its cable, and unplug by gripping the plug rather than the lead.
  4. Store it in its original box or a soft cotton pouch to protect the hand-painted Disco Black finish from scuffs.
  5. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight, and away from bathrooms and other damp rooms.
  6. Store the silicone head away from other silicone toys so the surfaces aren't in prolonged contact.
  7. Keep the spare plug adapters with the unit so the wand travels ready to use.

The Die Cast 3 Compact Wand Massager in Disco Black – Doxy story

The metal isn't styling. It's where the rumble comes from.

The metal body is not styling — Doxy says it is what lets them put heavy weights inside. Their wording on this model's own page is blunt: because the aluminium body is much stronger than plastic, they can fit heavy weights inside, and that produces the deep rumbly vibration the brand is known for. Doxy's technical pages add the other half of it, which is that the heavy Die Cast body absorbs unwanted vibration internally and pushes more energy outward into you rather than back into the handle. The Doxy Original does the same job in ABS plastic. Swapping that for an aluminium-titanium alloy is the entire reason this model exists.

Doxy's reason for the metal body: it is strong enough to hold heavier weights inside.

Speed runs from 3,000 to 9,000 RPM across eight settings, including escalating pulse modes, driven by three buttons rather than a dial. It plugs into the wall instead of running on a battery, and Doxy frames that trade honestly in its own comparison against the rechargeable 3R: the Die Cast 3 ensures uninterrupted power, the 3R offers up to one hour. A three-metre cord is the price of never watching power fade halfway through, and the plug-top supply ships with adapters for four regions.

Read the warranty position before you spend three hundred dollars. Doxy's current warranty page states that products sold on its site before 22 October 2025 were supplied and manufactured by CMG Leisure Ltd, and that Doxy 2.0 Ltd did not acquire that company's warranty obligations. The Die Cast 3 is not among the models Doxy 2.0 lists as covered. That is a real gap on a wand at this price, and we would rather you knew before ordering than after — message us and we will tell you exactly what coverage you get from us.

Doxy came out of a gap in the market rather than a laboratory. Co-founder William Garland told Forbes in 2019 that plug-in wands were a best-selling adult toy in North America while Europe had nothing comparable, so they built one — and that original company is the CMG Leisure named above, which is why the history and the warranty do not line up. The brand today describes its wands as designed in Britain, and we have kept that wording exactly as Doxy writes it rather than upgrading it to made in Britain. Doxy calls its silicone 100 per cent body-safe, non-porous, platinum grade, and every body is hand-painted, so the Disco Black shade varies slightly from unit to unit.

Pleasure With Purpose

Every purchase helps women impacted by sexual exploitation.

Pleasure With Purpose is our promise that pleasure should never come at anyone's expense. Launched in 2026 — our very first year in business — it directs 5% of every purchase to Canadian charities that support women impacted by sexual exploitation. We chose to start on day one, rather than "once we could afford it," because a brand built on consensual pleasure owes something to the women the wider industry has harmed. Every year we'll publish the numbers, the recipients, and the receipts.
