The Doxy 3 pairs a rigid ABS plastic body with a platinum-grade silicone head that is 100% body-safe and non-porous. It's free from phthalates and latex, so nothing absorbs into the surface and the head wipes clean after every use.
How to use, clean, and store
The first-5-minutes card in your box has the short version. This is the extended guide.
- Plug the built-in USB-C cable into a 5V/3A USB-C Power Delivery adapter, then into a wall socket. The wand is not battery-powered, so it only runs while connected.
- Check that the silicone head is screwed on firmly before switching on.
- Apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to the silicone head if you'd like. Water-based only, and keep lube away from the control buttons.
- Press the power button to start, then use the + and − buttons to dial the intensity up or down to where it feels right.
- Hold the power button for three seconds to switch into escalating pulse mode.
- Use the head against the body externally, keeping it moving rather than held hard in one place. Start low and build.
- Press the power button to switch off, then unplug the adapter from the wall when you're finished.
- Switch off and unplug the wand from the wall before cleaning. Never clean it while it's connected to power.
- Unscrew and remove the silicone head.
- Wash the head with warm water and antibacterial hand soap, or a gentle toy cleaner, and rinse it.
- Wipe the ABS body and the cable with a cloth dampened with warm soapy water. Never hold the body under a running tap or submerge any part of the wand — splashes can get inside the unit.
- Wipe around the buttons carefully to lift away any lube residue.
- Let both the head and the body air-dry completely, then screw the head back on.
- Make sure the wand is fully dry and unplugged before putting it away.
- Coil the 3-metre cable loosely rather than winding it tightly around the handle, which stresses the cable where it enters the body.
- Store it in a cloth pouch or a lined drawer, away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Keep it apart from other silicone items so the head doesn't sit in contact with them.
- Choose a dry spot — a bedside drawer rather than a bathroom cabinet, since the wand isn't waterproof.
