The Lovense Lush is the app-controlled vibrator most people picture when they hear "long-distance toy". It's a small silicone egg you wear hands-free while you, or a partner anywhere in the world, run it from a phone. Four versions are now in our store, and they are easy to mix up. This guide compares the Lush 4, Lush 3, Lush Mini and Lush Anal side by side. Every price is a real Canadian price from Red Pleasures, so you can pick the right one the first time.

Run times are the maximum on the lowest setting. All four are IPX7 waterproof, connect over Bluetooth, and work with the free Lovense Remote app. For scale, a library is about 40 dB. So every model's lowest setting is quieter than a library.
Lovense Lush 4: the best pick for most people
The Lovense Lush 4 is the fourth-generation wearable G-spot egg. It has a curved silicone bulb, a flexible neck and an outer tail with an LED light that changes colour with vibration strength. Lovense rates the motor at up to 7,000 vibrations per minute and the lowest setting at 36 dB. It runs up to 350 minutes on low and charges in about 45 minutes. A 5-minute top-up gives about an hour of play.
Buy it if you want the strongest, quietest egg and plan long sessions or long-distance play. Skip it if you mainly want clitoral stimulation. It is a G-spot toy first, so pair it with an external vibrator. One honest trade-off: the flexible neck can shift if you move a lot, so snug underwear helps.
Lovense Lush 3: the proven older model
The Lovense Lush 3 has the same egg-and-tail shape and the same 75 g weight as its successor. It runs up to 290 minutes per charge and takes about 85 minutes to charge on its magnetic cable. Seven onboard vibration patterns sit behind the button, so it works well without a phone.
This model suits someone who wants the long-tested design and a few built-in patterns. The catch is price. At $192.89 it is only $6 cheaper than the newer egg in our store, which is quieter (36 dB against 43 dB) and lasts longer. For most buyers that small gap makes the newer model the better value. Choose this one if you prefer its feel or already know you like it.
Lovense Lush Mini: the lighter egg
The Lovense Lush Mini is the compact version of the egg. It weighs 58 g, and its body is 1.22 inches wide. Lovense lists the lowest setting at 36 dB and says a 7-minute charge gives about an hour of play.
It is a good fit if the full-size egg feels like too much, or if you want something lighter to wear for a while. At $176.89 it is also the cheapest option we stock. The trade-off is information: Lovense does not list a full run time on our product page, so we can't promise how long a single charge lasts. If battery life matters most, choose the model with the published numbers.
Lovense Lush Anal: a beginner-size vibrating plug
The Lovense Lush Anal takes the wearable-egg idea and reshapes it as a butt plug. The insertable part is 21.5 mm (0.84 inches) wide, with a flat head and a T-shaped flared base. Lovense rates it at up to 7,500 vibrations per minute and 33 dB on its lowest setting. It runs up to 237 minutes on low, or about 72 minutes on the highest setting.
It is built for people new to anal play who want a small plug a partner can control from the app. It also has the colour-changing LED tail. Skip it if you already enjoy larger plugs; the Lovense Hush 2 ($144.89 CAD) comes in bigger sizes. Never fully straighten the neck, because Lovense warns it can break.
Lush 4 vs Lush 3: is the upgrade worth it?
Yes, for most new buyers. In our store the newer egg costs $6 more and adds a quieter motor, a longer run time and faster charging. Here is the difference in numbers, from Lovense's specs:
- Quietest setting: 36 dB against 43 dB.
- Run time: up to 350 minutes against up to 290 minutes.
- Full charge: about 45 minutes against about 85 minutes.
- LED tail: only the newer model has one.
If you already own a Lush 3 that works well, the upgrade is a want, not a need. Both pair with the same app and do the same long-distance tricks. Independent reviewer GirlyJuice called the newer model stronger than its predecessor. That matches Lovense's own motor rating.
How does the app and long-distance control work?
Each egg connects to your phone by Bluetooth and is controlled in the free Lovense Remote app. Up close, you choose levels, vibration patterns or music sync. For long-distance play, you add a partner in the app and approve their access. They can then control it from anywhere with an internet connection.
The full-size eggs and the plug also have a button, so you can turn them on and change levels without the app. Remote control from across the room uses Bluetooth only. Control from another city goes through the internet, with the app open on both phones.
All of these toys are wearable. The egg or plug sits inside your body and the thin tail stays outside, which is where the antenna lives. That's why it can be worn hands-free under clothes.
What about charging, warranty and phone support?
The two full-size eggs and the plug charge with Lovense's own magnetic USB cable, not a normal phone cable. There's no spare in the box, so keep that cable safe.
The battery is sealed inside. That is what makes these toys waterproof, but it also means the battery can't be swapped. To keep it healthy, top it up every few months even when you're not using it, and don't use the toy while it's charging.
The Lovense Remote app runs on iOS and Android phones. The pages for the two full-size eggs also list Mac and PC. The full-size eggs and the plug carry a 12-month Lovense warranty. Since all sales are final on intimate products, please read our refund policy before you order.
Which Lush should you buy?
Start with what you want it for. Use this simple rule: buy the Lush 4 unless you have a specific reason not to. Then check the exceptions below.
- Long-distance couples: the Lush 4. It has the longest published battery life, which matters on long calls.
- Want something smaller: the Mini. It is 17 g lighter than the full-size egg.
- New to anal play: the Lush Anal. It is the only one with a flared base, and only toys with a flared base belong in the anus.
- Love onboard buttons and patterns: the Lush 3, if you are happy to pay nearly the same price for an older model.
Shoppers seem to agree. In the 30 days to October 5, 2026, the Lush 4 was the best-selling Lovense listing on Amazon.ca, at roughly 141 units by Helium 10's estimate. You can see every model side by side in our Lovense Canada collection.
Is it body-safe, and how do you clean it?
Lovense states that the outer body of the Lush 4 and Lush Anal is body-safe silicone and that none of its products contain phthalates. The Lush 3 page lists body-safe silicone with no phthalates or latex. Lovense does not publish a medical-grade claim for these models, so we don't make one.
Use water-based lube only. Planned Parenthood explains that silicone lube "can react with the solid silicone in your toy and damage it". It adds that water-based lube is "a safe bet to use with any sex toy". The same page says any toy used anally needs a flared base so it can't slip all the way in. That is why the plug has a T-shaped base and the eggs are not for anal use.
To clean any of them, wash with warm water and mild, unscented soap or a toy cleaner before and after use. Pay attention to where the tail meets the body, because lube collects there. All four are IPX7, so you can rinse them under the tap. Never boil them or put them in a dishwasher, because the battery is sealed inside. Dry fully before storing. Our guide to cleaning sex toys covers this in more detail.
How we chose these picks
We compared every model we stock using Lovense's published specs, the details on our own product pages, and independent reviews. We weighted noise, battery life, charging and price, because those are the main differences between the models. We only list toys that are in stock at Red Pleasures, at the prices on our site the day this guide was written. Older models that we don't stock are left out.
FAQ
What is the difference between the Lush 4 and Lush 3?
The newer model is quieter (36 dB vs 43 dB), runs longer (up to 350 vs 290 minutes) and charges faster (about 45 vs 85 minutes). It also adds an LED tail. Both use the same Lovense Remote app and the same egg-and-tail shape.
Is the Lush Mini smaller than the Lush 4?
Yes. It weighs 58 g against 75 g, and its body is 1.22 inches wide. It is the lighter choice if the full-size egg feels like too much.
Can my partner control it from another city?
Yes. Add your partner in the Lovense Remote app and approve their access. They can then control the toy from anywhere with an internet connection. Up close, the app connects over Bluetooth.
Can I use it without the app?
Yes. The full-size eggs and the plug have a button that turns them on and changes the level. The Lush 3 also has seven onboard patterns. The app adds custom patterns, music sync and partner control.
Can I use the egg models anally?
No. The three eggs have no flared base, and Planned Parenthood advises that any toy used anally needs one. Use the Lush Anal, which has a T-shaped flared base, instead.
Are these toys waterproof?
Yes. All four models in our store are rated IPX7, so they can be used in the bath or shower and rinsed under the tap. Never boil them, because the battery is sealed inside.
What lube should I use?
Use a water-based lube. Silicone lube can damage the silicone surface of the toy, and Lovense also warns against oil-based lube. Be generous, especially with the plug.
Is the Lovense Lush 4 worth it in Canada?
For most buyers, yes. At Red Pleasures it costs $198.89 CAD, only $6 more than the older model, and it is quieter and lasts longer. We offer discreet shipping across Canada and the USA.
