The Lovense Solace is the original automatic thrusting stroker from Lovense, the Singapore-registered company (Hytto Pte. Ltd.) that has built app-connected toys since 2009. It was launched as a different idea from a vibrating stroker: instead of buzzing around you, a motor physically moves the sleeve up and down, so the sensation is a stroke rather than a vibration.
Real thrusting stroker: up to 280 strokes/min and 70 mm depth on a 180° adjustable desk mount
The numbers explain how it feels. At full power Solace reaches up to 280 strokes per minute, and you set how deep each stroke goes, up to a maximum of 70 mm (2.75"). On the device itself you choose between five button patterns and three stroke lengths. In the Lovense Remote app you can build and save up to 10 patterns of your own, hand control to a partner anywhere in the world, or let VibeMate and interactive content drive the strokes to match what's on screen.
Solace is big and solid — about 980 g — so Lovense ships it with a desk mount that clamps to a table and adjusts through 180°. Most people use it on the mount rather than in the hand, which is the point: it's built for hands-free play while you're lying back, sitting at a computer or standing at a table. A single charge of about 100 minutes gives up to 12.5 hours of play, according to Lovense.
The removable sleeve sits in a flip-open holder, so cleanup means washing the sleeve and holder, not the whole machine. The main unit is only splash-resistant (IPX4), so it never goes under the tap. Lovense says to use water-based lube only, and generously — and to keep the cup from facing straight up, because the mechanism can jam in that position.
Be clear about which Solace this is. Lovense now also sells the Solace Pro, a newer model with faster strokes, USB-C charging and AI Sync. This listing is the original Solace. Lovense lists two compatible sleeves for it: the neutral sleeve in the box and the Solace Vagina Sleeve, sold separately. The sleeves and grip kit labelled for Solace Pro are made for the Pro.
We stock Solace for people who want real hands-free motion and like the interactive side of Lovense's ecosystem. It's honest to say it isn't quiet or discreet: hands-on reviewers call it a little loud, and its size means it lives on a desk, not in a nightstand. It carries Lovense's 1-year warranty, which Red Pleasures handles for you. As with all intimate products, it can't be returned for change of mind. But if it arrives damaged, faulty or incomplete, tell us within 14 days and you choose a replacement or a full refund.
